Based on the book “Kudrin's system“, this docuseries investigates the Russian economy’s unexpected resilience after global financial crash of 2008. According to World Bank forecasts, the crisis was supposed to have a devastating effect on Russian economy but a sharp, brief recession was followed by a strong recovery, and in 2009 Russian stock market turned out to be the fastest-growing in the world.
